In 2007, Stand Up & Speak Out was a worldwide call-to-action to make poverty history and to meet the United Nations Millennium Development Goals.
On October 16, 2007, the United Nations Millennium Campaign*, in collaboration with Art of Living Foundation (AOLF), mobilized 6.5 millions of people to stand up in more than 26 States in India and 35 countries across the globe. This global event inspired by H. H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's is a marker of the organization and its volunteers commitment to the Millennium Development Goals.
